Mr. Douglas Wayne Worsley,49, died Monday September 10, 2018 at his home. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Mildred Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Mildred, N.C. with Rev. Jonah Walston officiating. A viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral service, there will be no viewing at the Funeral Home . Burial will be at Conetoe Chapel Cemetery, Conetoe, N.C.
He is survived by his father James Melton Stancil, Tarboro, NC, two sons, Markevion Worsley, Tarboro, N.C. , Shemar Worsley, of Kentucky. Three daughters, Jasmine Cherry (Antonio), of Florida, Zakiya Worsley, Teundra Worsley both of Kentucky. Three brothers, Alex Stancil, Greenville, N.C., Bobby Randolph (Teresa) Rocky Mount, N.C. and Demetrius Dickens, Princeville, N.C., two step-brothers Richard Jenkins, of Delware and James Pettaway of Raleigh, N.C.. Three sisters, Minister Selma Staton (Carnell), Tarboro, N.C. Mary Staton (Donald), Melissa Stancil, Greenville, N.C., two step-sisters Cherise Pierce and Melissa May(Warren) of Greenville, N.C. Two grandchildren, ZaMora Worsley,Tarboro, N.C. and AaRionah Cherry, of Florida, his fiance Danyell Hollis, Rocky Mount, N.C. Four uncles, Jeffrey Worsley, Tarboro, N.C. Donald Worsley (Pat) Garner,N.C., William Worsley, Washington,DC and Joseph Worsley (Faye) of Nashville, N.C. seven aunts, Sharon Howard of Greenville, N.C, Janice Crumble and .Myra Crumble, New York, Tracey Robinson (James) South Carolina, Barbara Wall, Charlotte, N.C. Annie Pollard (Percy) Virginia, and Francinia Sherrod, Rocky Mount, N.C. Two special friends Darryl Glass and Carlton Bridgers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
