Sylvia Powell Obituary

Ms. Sylvia Leigh Powell , 71, of Pensacola, Fl. , died Thursday May 9, 2019. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Machael Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancy Cemetery Princeville, N.C.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Powell II (Diana), Pensacola,Fl., James Clifton Powell III (Bonnie), Tarboro, N.C., and John Henry Powell IV (Angela), Winston Salem, N.C., two daughters, Marthiah Wells (Aron), Pensacola, Fl, and Thaeesha Quarells (Daniel) of Pensacola, Fl., fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m. on Friday May 17, 2019 at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
