Calvin Gunter Obituary Mr. Calvin Gunter, 71, of Princeville, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday December 28, 2023 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Evening Light Holiness Church ( 208 S. Pender Street) Wilson, North Carolina at 1:00PM with Bishop Katie Farmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Gunter of the home, three sons Kelvin Earl Gunter, Timothy Lamont Gunter of Tarboro, North Carolina and Calvin Gunter Jr. of Washington, DC. One daughter Shereece Jones, Tarboro, North Carolina. Two brothers, Roger Gunter Jr., Tarboro, North Carolina and Melvin Gunter (Juanita) of Pinetops, North Carolina. Five sisters, Cynthia Gunter, Ella Mae Gunter, Delois Gunter, Hilter (James) Speight all of Greenville, North Carolina and Vera Brown of Winterville, North Carolina. One aunt Ruth Fenner, Enfield, North Carolina and one uncle, William Fenner. Nineteen grand children and eight great grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
