Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., December 27, 2018 at Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. E. Ray Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancy Family Cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Bullock (David) Wilson, NC, one son, Lamon Dancy, Richmond, VA, six grandchildren, five brothers, Curmilus Dancy Sr., Pinetops, NC, William Henry Dancy (Gwendolyn), Stafford, VA, Leonard Dancy (Mamie), Norwalk, CT, Bernard Dancy (Annette), Tarboro, NC and Winfred Dancy (Donna), Castalia, NC, five sisters, Juanita D. Oates, Charlotte, NC, Oleathia D. Hayes (Henry), Warrenton, NC, Wilburay D. McNeil, Pinetops, NC, Gwendolyn D. Burns (Ameche) Robersonville, NC and Christine D. Sharpe (James) Chester, VA, and his significant other Ms. Vanaza Brown. A viewing will be held from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 prior to the funeral.
