Rodney Sherrod, Eulogist and Bishop Clinton Sherrod, Presiding. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. A public viewing will be held at Dickens Funeral Services, Inc. on Friday, from 2:00pm till 6:00pm. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, her children, Mittie Staton(Willie) of Durham, N.C., Vernell Jordan(Curtis) of Tarboro,N.C., Nathaniel Sherrod (Cheryl) of Waldorf, MD, James Sherrod of Speed, N.C., Nonnie Roberts (Perry) of Charlotte, N.C., Rev. Rodney Sherrod (Sharon) of Tarboro, N.C. and Bishop Clinton Sherrod (Joyce) of Waldorf , MD, one brother in law, David Sherrod of Plainfield, New Jersey. Twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
