Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. He is survived by six sons, James Murphy (Yvonne) Rocky Mount, NC, Eddie Pierce, Greenville, NC, Antonio Dancy, Rocky Mount, NC, Donshawn Whitaker (Trina) Rocky Mount, NC, Dominique Whitaker, Princeville, NC, Montory Whitaker of the home. One daughter Danyael Jefferson (Joe) Rocky Mount, NC and a long-time companion Boneitha Whitaker (Bonnie Cane) of the home. Three brothers Johnnie Bullock (Kim) Rocky Mount, NC, Donald Ray Bullock (Toby) Tarboro, NC, Roy Draughn , Jr., two sisters Mary Bullock, Tarboro, NC and Gloria Jean Smith, Rocky Mount, NC., four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 from 2:00-6:00PM. It is mandatory that masks be worn at both services.
