Funeral service 10:00am, Monday, April 04. 2022 at Whites Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, hwy. 122 North, Speed, North Carolina with Reverend Tommy King, officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Dora Faye Powell of the home, two sons, Keith Raynard Powell, Tarboro, North Carolina, Randall Jones (Carla) Rocky Mount, North Carolina, one stepson Aaron C. Davis, Maryland. A goddaughter, Helen Glover, Tarboro, North Carolina, two brothers, Alton R. Powell (Glenda) Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Paul T. Powell (Vivian) Rocky Mount, North Carolina. One sister Eva Lewis, Queens, New York. Five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, six nieces, seven nephews and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
