Burial will follow in the East lawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. She is survived by two daughters, Shonette (Donald) Hilliard, Raleigh, North Carolina, Antoinette (Savalious) Lewis, Tarboro, North Carolina. One brother George (Ernestine) Whitaker) Tarboro, North Carolina. Four sisters Rosa Blount, Tarboro, North Carolina, Sarah Battle, Rocky Mount North Carolina, Mamie (Robert) Blossom, Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Joann (Greg) Blackett, Rocky Mount North Carolina. Five grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
