Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July13, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 2280 Morning Star Church Road 27809 with Rev. Elbert Heath officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service in the church Cemetery. A public viewing will be held at the church 1 hour prior to the service. She is survived by a son DeNard Pope of New York, one sister Lula Howard, New Jersey, one brother Charles Pope, Tarboro, North Carolina, a host of Nieces, Nephews and a very Special Friend Shirley Braswell of Princeville, NC.
