One sister, Shakierra McDowell, Speed, North Carolina, one aunt, Ernestine McDowell, Hobgood, North Carolina, and three uncles, Melvin McDowell and Herbert Sylvester McDowell, both of Asheboro, North Carolina, Wendell McDowell, Kinston, North Carolina.
