John Harrington Obituary Mr. John Harrington, 90, transitioned on Tuesday January 17, 2023 at ECU Pitt Hospital, Greenville, North Carolina. Services will be held on Saturday, January 28. 2023 at Cherry Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Hobgood, North Carolina at 1:30PM with Rev. Roosevelt Higgs, Eulogist and Rev. Glasco Mercer, Presiding. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. He is survived by his Special Love One, Annie Porter of Tarboro, North Carolina, three sons Timothy Blackwell, Barron Williams of Bronx, New York and John Paulhill, Manhatten, New York, four daughters, Jody Williams, Bronx, New York and her mother Ellie Ward, Bronx, New York, Melissa Griffin, Matilda Cofield, Bronx, New York, and Sharon Graham (Roy) Battleboro, North Carolina. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grands, one great - great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A public viewing will be on Friday from 2:00PM to 8:00PM at Dickens Funeral Service. We will continue to follow the COVID guidelines in wearing masks and social distancing to all services.
