John Knight Obituary Mr. John T. Knight, 94, of Lawrence, North Carolina transitioned on Saturday February 10, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 2:30pm at Free Union Missionary Baptist Church, Tarboro, North Carolina. Rev. Wiliam Suggs, Eulogist. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Knight (Sylvia) Delta Junction, Alaska and David Knight, Richmond, Virginia. Two daughters Rebecca( Donald) Davis, Birmingham, Alabama and Barbara Knight of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great- grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren . He also leaves to mourn one sister Vannah Ree Galloway, Westbury, New York, one sister in law Janet (Clark) George, of Knightdale, North Carolina and a brother in law Toney(Margaret) Perry, Hinesville, Georgia and a host of nieces nephews and friends. A Walk-Through visitation will be held on Friday from 2 til 6pm at Dickens Funeral Service. We are continuing to follow the COVID guidelines and ask that all participants wear masks.
