Joseph Staton Obituary Mr. Joseph Staton, 71, of Tarboro, North Carolina. died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital of Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral service will be held 1:30p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Conetoe Chapel Missionary Baptist church, Conetoe, North Carolina with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Staton Family cemetery in Conetoe, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife Linda Anderson Staton of the home, six daughters Margaret Westray, High Point, North Carolina, Theresa Mason, Lansing Michigan, Kimberly Walters (Joseph) Princeville, North Carolina, Latoya Staton and Angela Staton of Washington, DC, Linda Washington (Carlos) Princeville, North Carolina. One brother Levorn Staton ( Alma) Lansing Michigan and one sister Barbara Williams of Baltimore MD. Twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 2:00p.m. To 6:00p.m. on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Dickens Funeral Services, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
