Lee Roy Sherrod age 66, died Sunday August 23, 2026. Services for Mr. Sherrod will be held on Wednesday, September 02, 2026 at 1:00pm at Dickens Funeral Service Chapel. A public viewing will be held Two hours prior to the service. 

He is survived by his wife Mary Sharpe Sherrod of the home, two sons Wayne Andrews, Asheboro, NC and Torrey Downing, Georgia. Three step -daughters, Erica Davidson, Shade' Sharpe, Quintara Sharpe. Three Step - grandchildren. Three brothers, Calvin Sherrod, Princeville, NC., Hilton Staton (Margaret) Tarboro, NC, William Staton (Elizabeth) Tarboro, NC. One sister, Teresa Graves (Don) of Durham, NC. One aunt, Edna Brown, Speed, NC. and a host of cousins and friends.
