Lonnie Purvis Obituary Mr. Lonnie Purvis died on September 10, 2020 at Heritage Retirement Center, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Graveside Service for Mr. Purvis will be held on Thursday, September 17, at 12 noon at Conetoe Chapel Church Cemetery, 200 Railroad Street, Conetoe North Carolina with Rev. Roy Gray officiating. Mr. Purvis was a graduate of the class of 1967 at Conetoe High School, Conetoe North Carolina. He leaves to cherish his memory one son Walter Everett of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, a brother Benjamin Purvis of Windsor North Carolina. Several devoted nephews and nieces cousins and friends. A public viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00PM at Dickens Funeral Service. We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines in distancing and masks will be required to be worn for both services. These services have been entrusted to Dickens Funeral Services, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
