Lynn Sherrod Obituary Mr. Lynn Sherrod, 64, of Rocky Mount passed away on Sunday June 27, 2021. Services for Mr. Sherrod will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00PM at Dickens Funeral Service Chapel, Tarboro, North Carolina with Assistant Pastor Arthur Manning officiating. A viewing will be held one hour before the service at 12 noon. He is survived by his wife Deloris M. Sherrod of the home, two step daughters, Tarnette Anthony (Marcel), Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Danyell Hollis (David), Greensboro, North Carolina. one brother Alan Faulks (Phyllis) of Virginia, Five sisters, Shieley Carney, and Carolyn Smallwood, both of Virginia, Linda Ritchie (Melvin) Ohio, Clavon Thornhill Mississippi, Lucy Dickens, Speed, North Carolina. Seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines and you are asked that masks be worn for this service.
