A Chapel Service for Ms. Mitchell will be held Monday,1:00 pm February 8, 2021 at Dickens Funeral Home Chapel, Tarboro, North Carolina, Rev. Glascoe Mercer, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. She is survived by one son, Willie Mitchell, Tarboro, North Carolina, two daughters, Artelia (Phillips) Jenkins, Pinetops, North Carolina, Anita Mitchell, Tarboro, North Carolina two grandchildren, Phyllis Jenkins (Jamie) of Pinestops, North Carolina and Alicia Jenkins of Tarboro, North Carolina, two great grandchildren , Giselle Jenkins and Shykeem Council a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Public Visitation will be held on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00PM. We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines and you are asked that masks be worn for both Services.
