Funeral services will be held Thursday December 13, 2012,1 p.m. at the Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Battle officiating. Burial will follow in the Carver Park Cemetery. She is survived by four sisters;Emma Dickens Dortch of the home,Annie Jenkins of Rocky Mount,Phyllis Biscoe of Oxen Hill,Maryland and Nora Umstead of Rocky Mount.Six brothers;Wilton Dickens of Tarboro,William Dickens,Jr. of Laplatin,Maryland,James E. Dickens of Brooklyn,N.Y.,John R. Dickens of Pinetops,Jimmy Dickens of Washington,D.C. and Billy Dickens of Tarboro.
