Missionary Batts Obituary Tarboro, North Carolina Missionary Ernestine Walker Batts, 89, of Tarboro,N.C., died, May 14, 2016 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday May 21, 2016 at Holy Temple Church, 1587 Briley Road Greenville, N.C., (Saintsville Community) with Bishop Michael Deloatch officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Temple Church Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Batts of Tarboro,N.C. and Hazel Batts of Rocky Mount, N.C., four sons, Aaron Batts of Charlotte N.C., David Batts (Robin) of Rocky Mount, N.C, Matthew Batts of Enfield, N.C. and Dennis Batts (Nicole) of Greenville, N.C., one sister, Zola Barnhill of Greenville, N.C., a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held 2-7 p.m. Friday at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina. These services have been entrusted to Dickens Funeral Service of Tarboro.
