Mr. Cornell Whitaker Obituary Tarboro,N.C. Mr. Cornell Clinton Whitaker,56,died October 26,2010.Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at the Mt. Sinai Church of God in Murfreesboro,N.C. with Overseer Pastor Arthur Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife Velena Brown Whitaker of the home. Two daughters Danita Whitaker of Rocky Mount and Kendra Allen of Newport News,Virginia. Three sons Dewayne Whitaker,Cornell Whitaker,Jr. both of Rocky Mount and Kendrick Taylor of Wilson. Two stepdaughters Jamya Brown and Brandi Brown of Tarboro. His father Clinton Whitaker of Enfield,his stepmother Shirley Whitaker of Enfield,two sisters Andrena Richardson and Debra Scott. Two brothers Arthur Whittaker and Michael Whitaker. Eight grandchildren,three half sisters Diane Lewis,Antoinette Harrison and Latanya Taylor. Two half brothers Stevon Mathis and Clinton Degree.
