He is survived by three children, Iasiah Nicole Garvey and Dwayne Roshard Garvey, Jr. of Rocky Mount, N.C., Jahmir Garvey of Bailey, N.C., two brothers, Dwight Garvey, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., Deshawn Garvey of Freeport, Bahamas, three sisters, Tatyana Garvey, Destiny Garvey, Trinity Garvey all of Freeport, Bahamas, grandparents, Oscar and Gloria Caine of Tarboro, N.C., Granville Garvey and Bessie Martin of Freeport, Bahamas, one uncle, Danny Ray McDowell of Raleigh, N.C., two aunts, Melinda Caine Short (Pierre) of Fayetteville, N.C., Michelle Caine Pettaway (Demerius) of Tarboro, N.C. and host of other relatives and friends.
