Mr. Elbert Pippen Obituary Mr. Elbert Elijah Pippen, 101, of Rocky Mount died January 5, 2009. Funeral services will be held Friday 12:00 noon at the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. David Pippen officiating. Burial will follow in the Pippen Family Cemetery. He is survived by one sister Mary Howell of Philadelphia. Several nieces and nephews.
