Mr. Elzie Jones, Jr. Obituary Mr. Elzie Jones, Jr., 65, died September 22, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Mildred Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Cherry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter; Tonja Cobb of Hampton, Virginia, one son; Michael Jones of Newport News, Virginia. Six grandchildren, six sisters; Allie Dale Williams, Mary Jones and Dorothy Byrd of Tarboro, Dora Eaton of Baltimore, Maryland, Roseanna Powell of Maryland and Lottie Vick of Speed.
