Mr. George Applewhite, Sr. Obituary Greenville, N.C. Mr. George Lee Applewhite,Sr.,53,died August 9,2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at the St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel House officiating. Burial will follow in the Atkinson Cemetery. He is survived by his mother Daisy Applewhite Porter of the home. Two daughters Sabrine Pollard and Sophia Pollard both of Greenville. One son George Applewhite, Jr. of Greenville,N.C.; Five Sisters Patricia Whitehead of Tarboro,Yvonne Portor of Washington,D.C.,Debbie Applewhite,Queenie Fields,Tammy Spencer all of Greenville. Two brothers Clarence Smith of Tarboro,Elijah Porter,Jr. of Las Vagas,Archie Applewhite and Carson Spencer both of Greenville. Three grandchildren.
