Mr. George Ward Obituary Bronx, New York Mr. George L. Ward, 66, of Bronx, New York died, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Highway Temple of Truth Church (111 Burnette Farm Road, Tarboro, North Carolina) with the Rev. Lee Ernest Suggs, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Tarboro, North Carolina. He is predeceased by his parents, the late John Ivey Ward, Jr. and Cenella Ward of Princeville, North Carolina and his sister, Ruth Ward Belcher. He is survived by four children, Richard John Veltri, Ricky Ward, Alaina Sergi and Troy Ward; three sisters, Vetris Ward, Brenda DeLoatch and Valarie Barnes; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held immediately prior to the funeral service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Highway Temple of Truth Church. These services have been entrusted to Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
