Mr. James Harvey Obituary Mr. James Earl Harvey died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday,September 6, 2015 at Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Whitakers, N.C. with the Rev. Vonzelle Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Church Cemetery. He is survived by a mother, Elizabeth Harvey Gaskin of Tarboro, N.C., three children, Antonio Bullock of Rocky Mount, N.C., Chiquita Bullock of Tarboro, N.C., Raheen Bullock of Cherry Point, N.C., three sisters: Gloria Hyman (Max) Whitakers, N.C. ,Dorothy Houghton (Reno) New Haven, Ct., Betty Jean Gaskin of Tarboro, N.C. six brothers; Leroy Harvey, Jr.(Dorothy) of Columbus, Md., Joseph Harvey of Pittsboro, N.C., David Earl Harvey, Steve Harvey both of New Haven, Ct, Ernest Harvey of Houston, Texas, Herbert Harvey (April) of Raleigh, N.C. and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held Saturday, September 5, 2014 from 2 pm. to 7 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
