Mr. James Edward Hyman, age 82 of Tarboro, departed this earthly life on Sunday, January 19, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00PM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. Luke Church of Christ, Princeville. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro. A viewing will be held from 11:00AM - 12:00PM, prior to the service at the church. James leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Juanita Sherrod Hyman of the home; three sons, James Anthony Hyman (Lannette) of Tarboro, Kevin J. Hyman (Monique) of Greensboro, and Derrick S. Hyman of the home; three brothers, Jesse Hyman, Eddie Cofield, Jr., and William M. Cofield all of Tarboro; five grandchildren, Jamie Hyman, Dr. Briana Hyman, Devin Hyman, Kierra Hyman, Kameron Hyman; two great-grandchildren, Chosen and Cherish; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
