Mr. John Stancil Obituary Mr. John Stancil, 80, died October 2, 2008. Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 P.M. at Dickens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jonah Walston officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by four daughters,Shirley Green,of New Jersey; Janice Shaw,of Tarboro; Gloria Jean Stancil of Baltimore,Maryland and Gaye Sue Stancil of Smithfield,N.C.; one son John Lee Stancil of Winterville, one sister Mattie Crandol of Robersonville N.C.; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
