Mr. Johnnie Sheridan, Jr Obituary Tarboro, N.C. Mr. Johnnie Sheridan, Jr., 70, died January 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Dickens Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Jonah Walston, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancy Cemetery in Princeville with Military Rites. He is survived by his wife Lena Jones Sheridan of the home, one daughter Katrina Sheridan of Tarboro, N.C, one son Michael Ray Sheridan (Lilliana) of California, two stepdaughters Patricia Higgs (Marvin) of Richmond, VA, and Tawanza Braswell (Kyle) of Rocky Mount, N.C., one stepson James E. Jones (Latica) of Memphis, Tennessee, two brothers Melvin Sherrod (Julia) of New Jersey and Johnnie Blue (Mary) of Rocky Mount, N.C., one sister Mary Bell Williams of Sharpsburg, N.C., seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
