Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Whites Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Glascoe Mercer, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Batts Chapel Church Cemetery. He is survived by four daughters MonaLisa Pittman (Greg) of Leggett, NC, Katrina Nicole Hyman(Rodrick) of Tarboro, NC; Sharda Renee McDowell of the home, Lakoya Glass of Princeville, NC, four sons, Antiono Lamonte Mcdowell (Kimberly) of Ashboro, NC; Jermaine Donell Mcdowell of the home; Shawn Tryell Mcdowell of Tarboro, NC; Damonte Keavon Whitehead of Tarboro, NC,. five sisters, Janet Dickens (Wille) of Pinetops, NC; Bettty Barnes (George) of Pinetops, NC. ,Teresa Edmonds of Raleigh, NC; Barnadine Ransome of Tarboro, NC; Barnadatte Savage (Calvin) of Lawrence, NC. three brothers, Bernard Ransome (Deloris) of Rocky Mount, NC; Norman Earl Ransome of Scotland Neck, NC, and Milton Ray Ransome of Speed, NC. and his mother, Willie Ann Ransome.
