Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Luke Church of Christ in Princeville with Bishop Antonio Gregory officiating. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dickens Council, one daughter Jinessa Council, two sons Samaari Council and Amare Council. Eight sisters, Verlene Dickens, Ora Mae Council, Yvonne Council, Gloria Cooper (Tony), all of Newport News Va., Audrey Jones (Yawn) Randallstown,MD., Erma Bullock(Roosevelt) Hobgood, N.C.,Lorene McNair, Tarboro, N.C.,Linda Clark (Dexter) Battleboro, N.C. Six brothers King Council (Ethel), Walter Council (Carolyn) both of Hampton Va, Harvey Council (Jean) San Diego, California, Julius Council (Jamil), David Council (Karen) of Newport News Va. and Curtis Whitehead (Doris) Tarboro, N.C., one aunt, Annie Bell Euwell of Tarboro, N.C.
