Mr. Percy Bellamy Obituary Tarboro, NC Percy Bellamy departed this life and pass into the loving arms of our heavenly father on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. He was born on May 16, 1944 to the late Elizabeth Bellamy and Percy Pittman in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Percy was educated in Edgecombe County Public Schools, and retired from ABB Electric Company. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Salem Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Deshaunta Harper of Bronx, NY, Sonja Bellamy of Norfolk, VA and Yolanda Harper of Bronx, NY; three sons, Darryl Bellamy Parker of Chesapeake, VA, Percy Harper of Bronx, NY and Percy Lamont Bellamy of Chesapeake,VA ;godmother, Ethel Bellamy of Tarboro, ; two aunts, Adell Gorham of Chesapeake, VA and Mattie Bellamy of Tarboro, NC; three great aunts, Ella Branch of Tarboro, NC, Frances Bellamy-Hinton of Tarboro, NC and Geneva Suggs of Tarboro, NC; one great uncle, Wiley Bennett of Scotland Neck, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
