Mr. Peter Dickens Obituary Mr. Peter \\'Pete\\' Dickens, 74, of Silver Spring, Maryland died May 1, 2010. He was a native of Pinetops, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2p.m. at the Pines Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Battle officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife Viola Dickens,three children Angela, Cookie, and Denise. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His mother Mrs. Rose Bynum of Pinetops and nine sisters and brothers.A viewing will be held Friday from 2PM - 6PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends Saturday 1-2 p.m. at the Church.
