Mr. Roosevelt Lewis Obituary Pinetops, North Carolina Mr. Roosevelt Lewis, 86, died October 10, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Pines Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Speight officiating. He is survived by a loving wife of 63 years;Mary Helen Lewis, children;Barbara Totten (Odell) of Brooklyn, NY,Margie Sherrod of Hartford, Conn., Joyce Hussey (Larry) of Pinetops, NC, Roosevelt Lewis, Jr. (Angela) of Raleigh,NC, Mary Catherine Lewis of the home, Bettie Collins and Ethel Hall both of Maryland, one sister; Cottis Mae Dickens (Matthew) of Durham, NC, brothers: Joe Lewis of Pinetops, NC, Billie Ray of Tarboro, NC Vernon Lee (Elaine), Charles (Debra) both or Macclesfield, NC and Edward (Edna) of Rocky Mount, NC, ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Burial will follow in the Dancy Cemetery in Pinetops, N.C.
