He is survived by one daughter; Telicia Shanta Bass of Fuquay Varina, NC, his mother Irene Stephens of the home, one sister; Carolyn Stephens Forte of Wilmington, NC, three brothers; Christopher Stephens of Cary, NC, Billy Ray Stephens of Wilson, NC and Howie Wendell Stephens of Tarboro, NC, and a host of other relatives and friends.
