Mr. Walter Jones Obituary Tarboro, N.C. Mr. Walter Colister Jones died Thursday, January 4, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Whites Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy King officiating. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Cooper Jones of Tarboro, N.C., a son Walter Colister Jones Jr. (Phyllis) of Aulander , N.C., a daughter Felicia N. Simmons (Philip) of Crofton Md., six grandchildren, Zaavon Jones, Julian Jones, Zion Jones, Azana Jones, Philip Simmons and Sarai Simmons. One sister, Lena Jones, Tarboro, N.C., and a brother William E. Jones (Janie) of Forestville, Md. A sister-in-law Mrs. Ethel Ruth Jones, Tarboro, N.C. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Dickens Funeral Service Inc. and a wake from 6;00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whites Chapel Missionary Baptist church, Speed, N.C.
