Mr. Willie Dancy,Sr. Obituary Scotland Neck,N.C. Mr. Willie Dancy,Sr.,97,died December 17, 2010 in Newport News,Virginia. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church near Scotland Neck with the Rev. J.J. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Emma Boddie Dancy and one son Mr. Roy Dancy. He is survived by three daughters;Ethel Braswell (Curtis) of Piscataway,New Jersey,Mattie Sales of Newark,New Jersey and Elesta White (Earl) of Yorktown,Virginia. Two sons;Willie Dancy,Jr. (Doris) of Yorktown,Virginia and Thurman Dancy (Geneva) of Union,New Jersey. A viewing will be held Tuesday 2-6 p.m and the family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service,Inc. of Tarboro.
