Mrs. Alice Thomas Obituary Mrs. Alice Arnold Thomas, age 76, died September 18, 2007. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 23, 2007, 2 p.m. at the Harts' Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Elijah Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancy Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Alice Thomas Meeks of Princeville and Leatrice Freer of Winterville; two sons, Ernest Thomas, Jr. of Rocky Mount and Bobby Earl Thomas of Tarboro, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and one sister Susie Williams of Washington, DC. A wake will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 7-8 p.m. at the church. Services have been entrusted to Dickens Funeral Service, Inc.
