Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in White's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stacey Evans officiating. Burial will in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens of Tarboro. She is survived by her son; Dennis R. Staton,a daughter-in-law; Daisy Staton, grandchildren; Dennis Wilkins, Tracy Staton, Stacy Staton, and Courtney Staton, a great grandchild; Khile Wilkins all of North Carolina; one brother-in-law; Charles Forunthe of Washington, D.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
