Mrs. Bertha Flowers Obituary Tarboro, North Carolina Mrs. Bertha Mae Weaver Flowers, 95, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Golden Living Nursing Center, Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 10, 2016 at the Bethlehem Primitive Association with the Elder James Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitehead-Flowers Cemetery. She is survived by five daughters, Helen Flowers Smith of Princeville, North Carolina, Phyllis Wooten (William) of Pinetops, North Carolina, Novella Holmes of Capital Heights, Maryland, Charlotte Teal (Dennis) of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Lubertha Lloyd (Anthony) of Barstow, California, seven sons, Willie Flowers, Marvin Flowers, Clifton Flowers, Julius Flowers all of Tarboro, North Carolina, Jesse Flowers of Chesapeake, Virginia, Turner Flowers (Ada), and Charlie Flowers (Mary) of Capital Heights, Maryland. A viewing will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. followed by a wake from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.at Few In Number Primitive Baptist Church in Pinetops, North Carolina.
