Mrs Betty Pettaway Obituary Mrs Betty Jones Pettaway, 86, died January 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at the Conetoe Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. She is survived by three daughters; Betty Pender of the home, Gladys Staton of Bethel and Pearlie Moore of Tarboro. Three sons Rev. A.C. Pettaway of New York, Earl Pettaway of Brooklyn, New York and Kennedy Ray Pettaway of Tarboro. One sister Nancy Brown of Tarboro,42 grandchildren,101 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren.
