Mrs. Claybelle Thigpen Obituary Pinetops, North Carolina Mrs. Claybelle Thigpen 88, died Thursday December 07, 2017 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Bethlehem Association Center, Bynum Road, Pinetops,North Carolina. With Elder Joseph Thigpen , Jr. Eulogist. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Farmville, North Carolina. She is survived by a grand daughter Anita Eason of the home. Six sons, Elder Joseph (Elder Lolita) Thigpen, of Bronx, New York, Ernest (Annie) Thigpen, Tarboro, North Carolina, Dennis Thigpen, Pinetops, North Carolina, George (Diana) Thigpen) Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Kenneth (Ada Pearl) Thigpen, Wilson, North Carolina, District Elder Elester (Joyce) Thigpen, Greenville, North Carolina and Betty Farmer Thigpen of Pinetops, North Carolina. Forty-two grandchildren, one hundred and five great-grand children, nine great-great grandchildren, two brothers Elder James (Betty Jean) Smith, Deacon Alex (Rosa Lee) Smith both of Pinetops, North Carolina, two sisters Selever (Wilbert Layne) of White's Plain, New York and Dorothy (Edwin Fahnbulleh) of Greenville, North Carolina. A viewing will be held from 2:00-6:00pm at Dickens Funeral Service and a wake from 7:00-9:00pm at Bethlehem Association Center.
