Mrs. Doris Taylor Obituary Mrs. Doris Best Taylor, 65, of Pinetops died February 28, 2009. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at Pines Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Taylor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Pastor James Taylor of Grimesland, one daughter, Sherri Taylor Knight of Tarboro. Her mother, Mary Bess Pegues of Hampton, Virginia, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One brother, Scott Bess of Washington, D.C.
