Mrs. Dorothy Jones Obituary Tarboro, North Carolina Mrs. Dorothy Leigh Arnold Jones, 87, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Edgecombe Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Salem Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (1992 Fishing Creek Road, Tarboro, N.C.) with Bishop Vann Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Doris Evans (Edward), Carrie Jones, Hattie Suggs, and Ernestine Dancy (Wheeler) all of Tarboro, North Carolina, five sons, Joseph Jones, Jr. (Annie) of Greenville, North Carolina, Melvin Jones of Tarboro, North Carolina, Dennis Jones of Speed, North Carolina, Willie Jones (Isabell) of Rich Square, North Carolina and Jesse Jones of Tarboro, North Carolina and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 followed by a wake from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
