Mrs. Edith Worsley Obituary Tarboro, N.C. Mrs Edith Mae Purvis Worsley,79, died July 1, 2012. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday July 7, 2012 at the Mildred Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Cherry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Conetoe Chapel Church Cemetery. She is survived by five sons: Joseph Worsley, Jr. of Nashville, NC, Willie and William Worsley both of Washington, DC, Donald Worsley of Garner, NC and Jeffery Worsley of Tarboro, NC. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine greatgrandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Four brothers: Roosevelt Purvis and Jimmy Purvis both of New York, Benjamin Purvis of Windsor, NC and Lonnie Purvis of Rocky Mount, NC.
