Mrs. Eliza Staton Obituary Mrs. Eliza Knight Staton, 97, died October 4, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 P.M. at the St. Luke Church of Christ in Princeville with the Rev Glascoe Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Perry Lee Albritton of Rocky Mount, five sons; William Staton, John Staton and Cornelius Staton all of Washington, D.C., Joseph Staton of Greenboro, N.C., and James Staton of Temple Hill, Maryland; one brother, Clifton Jenkins of Rocky Mount, N.C.; thirty grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and sixteen great great grandchildren.
