Mrs. Mattie Whitaker Obituary Mrs. Mattie Marie Ransome Whitaker,77, died January 1, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Dancy Cemetery in Princeville. She is survived by one godson Andre Gilliam of Hampton, Virginia, one stepson Pete Whitaker of Philadelphia, Pennsylyania, One brother Walter Allen of Tarboro and several nieces and nephews.
