Mrs. Sallie Simpson Obituary Atlanta, GA Mrs. Sallie Carol Parker Simpson, 57, formerly of Leggett died December 17, 2013. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 12 noon at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Princeville. She is survived by two daughters; Samantha Novella Simpson of Boston, MA and Erika Janie Simpson of Chicago, IL; five sisters, Bertha Parker of Tarboro, NC, Rev. Vernell Bellamy of Washington, DC, Linda McCoy of Rocky, Mount, NC, Rev. Mattie Walker, of Greensboro, NC and Patricia Hines of High Point, NC; four brothers, Raymond Parker, of Rocky Mount, NC, Dr. Jerry Parker of Greenville, NC, Bruce Parker of, Durham, NC, and James Kearney of Baltimore, MD; One uncle Kelster Wheeler (Ruby) of Tarboro, NC; four aunts, Lucy Williams of Battleboro, NC, Maggie Whitaker of Whitakers, NC, Carrie Wheeler and Dorothy Wheeler both of Tarboro, NC; a host of nieces, nephews as well as other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held Monday 2-6 pm at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc., the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
