Mrs. Wendy Allen Obituary Roxboro, N.C. Mrs. Wendy Williams Allen, 48, died August 19, 2010. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at the Free Union Missionary Baptist Church (4729 NC Hwy 97 East, Tarboro, N.C., 27886) with the Dr. James A. Richmond, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Allen attended the Shady Hill Baptist Church in Roxboro, N.C. and was a devoted teacher at Person High School. She is survived by her husband Melvin R. Allen, Sr. of the home; one son Melvin R. Allen, Jr. of Chapel Hill, her mother, Ms. Beulah Williams of Lawrence and one brother Clinton Williams of Tarboro.
