Ms. Elma Edwards Obituary Ms. Elma Dean Edwards, 64, died August 31, 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. at the Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Glacoe Mercer officiating. Burial will follow in the Council Cemetery. She is survived by three sisters, Jennie E. Thomas and Shirley Mae Edwards both of Tarboro, NC and Barbara A.
